HOUSES & SOCIETIES
Windsor Academy is divided into four Houses — each one a different world, a different social class, a different set of rules. House determines status, dormitory, network, and social circle. Students are assigned during the Ceremony of Crests, based on lineage or personal choice.
And beneath the Houses, beneath the ceremonies, beneath the gold — the secret societies play their own game. Four of them. Four kinds of power. One rule: never speak of it.
THE FOUR HOUSES
Sanguine regitur omnia. — Blood rules all.
The Crowns. Old money, aristocracy, corporate dynasties. The most powerful House. They set the social rules and control the Student Council. Referred to as «The Blood».
Honos nostrum vinculum. — Honor is our bond.
The Legacy Elite. Wealthy legacy families with strong names but not dynasty level. They aspire to join the Inner Circle — and serve as its executors.
Audaces fortuna iuvat. — Fortune favors the bold.
The New Guard. Children of tech billionaires, media moguls, new-money tycoons. Rich but lack old-school connections. In quiet competition with Ashford.
Meritum nostra corona. — Merit is our crown.
The Grinders. Merit-based admits. Brilliant, ambitious, hungry. Some try to infiltrate elite circles; others reject the system entirely.
WITHOUT A HOUSE
Students with average wealth, no legacy status, no connections. They live off-campus and have no House affiliation. Socially invisible — unless they do something extraordinary.
No tower. No colors. No network. But sometimes — rarely — an Invisible rises. And when they do, the whole academy remembers.
THE UNIFORM
All WA students must wear formal uniform during classes, official events, and in the Great Hall.
Royal navy robe with the academy crest. Blazer with House crest. White standing-collar shirt. House-colored tie. Dark grey or black trousers / skirt. Black Oxfords or loafers.
Purple tie with gold stripe. Golden lion badge on the lapel. Purple arm patch with crown. Golden signet ring for Order members.
Silver tie with blue stripe. Silver falcon on the lapel. Blue arm patch with falcon. Silver brooch with falcon.
Black tie with crimson stripe. Crimson wolf on the lapel. Crimson arm patch with wolf. Leather bracelet with wolf emblem.
Emerald tie with white stripe. Golden phoenix on the lapel. White arm patch with phoenix. Simple silver chain with phoenix pendant.
Golden Key — small gold brooch, awarded to Tournament winners. Dean's Star — silver star for House Prefects. Lion's Cross — purple cross for Student Council. Black Rose — for White Rose Society members.

Select Crowns and exceptional Legacy students. Meet in the crypt beneath the Old Chapel. Members secure internships, board seats, and political connections for life.
All-female · Unofficial
Daughters of the most powerful families. Focus on diplomacy — strategic marriages, social influence, behind-the-scenes power brokering.
Modern · Reckless
Dominated by New Guard and rebellious Legacy heirs. Known for underground fights, high-stakes gambling, and a code of loyalty above all.
Secretive · Grinders only
They collect dirt on the wealthy. They do not seek power — they seek leverage. Rumored to have a vault of compromising material on nearly every elite family.
